Hodgeman County, KS
Hodgeman County Vision 2015

Building family

Building unity

Building values...

One stone at a time

  Goals:

  • Mentoring: Develop after-school mentoring activities that are faith-based programs

  • Unity: Create one community spirit, united in participatory decision-making with the younger generation, to encourage collaborative leadership

  • Health & Business Services: Develop a thriving community through cooperation and the dedication to quality health care and to businesses that provide essential services to our community and visitors

  • History and Recreation: Build on historical and recreation assets in both Hanston and Jetmore to enhance our competitive position

 Year Two Strategies:

  • Partner with Ministerial Alliance to hold 2nd Community Conversation in conjunction with a first-time ecumenical Thanksgiving Service

  • Use 2nd Conversation to celebrate Year One, strengthen county-wide unity and gain new ideas for future strategies
